Hi all,
Firstly I would like to extend a thank you to James for setting up the Blog, we now have a forum in which to pool information, submit ideas, develop strategies, diarise meetings or in this particular case post minutes from the previous meeting.

Mixed Group Project Drawing on the City
Ian in his introduction to the project outlined the academic and outcome requirements of the project. I will deal with these separately. (please forgive the interpretative analysis as my position as minute taker was agreed at the end of the meeting).
THE BRIEF
Academic
The project fits into the 10 credit Methods of Inquiry Module and will take the form of a reflective log, detailing our individual experience of working within a team on a creative practise based project. This covers the process from conception to completion, it should be stressed that completion does not have to include an end product. It is the process of working within a group on a singular project and our experiences as evidenced in our logs that we will be individually assessed on. The project culminates with a presentation to a wider audience (details needed) in December (date and time needed).
Outcome
The brief and its title Drawing on the City is intended to be open to myriad of different interpretations in both method of inquiry and practise
Agreed by the Group
It was agreed to call the group 'The 'A' Team'.
At the meeting it was agreed that James would set up a blog to assist with the project and Dave would post the minutes of the first meeting and post it to the blog. It was further agreed that minutes would be taken by a different group member at each subsequent meeting.
It was agreed that each member of the group would individually brainstorm and propose a project that would accommodate the requirements of the brief. Each proposal will be presented and discussed at the next meeting. After the proposal presentations the group will attempt to reach consensus on a suitable project to take the brief forward.
Time and Date for the next Group Meeting
29th October 2009 12.30 - 1.30
Please feel free to comment on these minutes if you fee that I have left something out.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am looking forward to working with you all and I am sure we can make this project both a pleasurable and informative experience.
Dave
